Before the District Court removed Adrienne Hanagan as the Designated Election Official based upon the “perception of impropriety”, the leaders of the recall campaign collected and turned in a total of 58 signatures:

Rita Bertolli (11 signatures), Christopher Arlen (6 signatures), Kathe Odenweller (11 signatures)  and Brenda Bronson (30 signatures).

They needed at least 300.     Other people collected 322  signatures for a total of 380 that were submitted for qualification.

So, who collected the other 322 signatures.

Well, Robert Eadie, the Adam Paul pro-development supporter who posted on Mr. Arlen’s facebook page that the board members should be recalled because they are blocking development of Rooney Valley.

He got 15 signatures

Then there was Mike Mueller, who has constantly threatened and harassed the board members and unequivocally stated Tuesday night “I am not working for the developers” and in the very next breath stated:  “The board should make the best possible deal with the developers” . . .  When there is no reason to make a “deal” with the developers since the lawsuit was dismissed, unless of course you want Green Mountain to promote development in Rooney Valley.

He got 4 signatures.

And John Danielson.

He got 16 signatures.

That brings the total up to 93 signatures.    Who collected the remaining 287 signatures.   Who collected 75% of the signatures turned in.

Well you will likely recognize Rita, Brenda, Robert, John, Christopher, Kathe and Mike.  They are residents of the Green Mountain District.

But you probably won’t recognize the people who collected the remaining 287 signatures –  you probably won’t recognize the folks who collected 75% of the signatures.

That is because they were hired, mercenary, pollsters.  Apparently employed by Grass Roots Campaign, Inc. or a similar organization.  They typically get paid about $3 an hour to collect your signatures.

They don’t live in the district.  They probably don’t know any of you or the board members.  They likely don’t know anything about Green Mountain.

When we recalled the developer employees off the boards in Solterra, 26 residents – all residents – collected 784 signatures.

This sad performance by the supporters of the Green Mountain recall and the fact they had to hire people to collect signatures tells you something.

Something about the strength of their movement and the amount of community support they actually have

To “get rid” of the three board members who fought to defend termination of an illegal IGA – a position the Court upheld.

To “get rid” of the three board members who fought to give the residents a voice on whether or not Green Mountain should go outside its boundaries and promote development in Rooney Valley.

The same supporters of this recall who used Adrienne Hanagan as the designated election official – who was just removed by the District Court based upon a “perception of impropriety”.

So, who is paying these mercenaries to knock on your doors and ask you to sign a petition they don’t know anything about.

Rita?

Brenda?

Christoper?

Kathe?

a political organization?

Adam Paul?

Robert Eadie?

Mike?

Cardel Homes, Inc.?

Three Dinos?

Stream Realty?

Hank Brumley?

Tom Morton?

CDN?

Big Sky?

Charles Norton?

Who has the most to gain?   Who has the most to lose?

The leaders of the recall movement – Robert Eadie,  Brenda Bronson, Mike Muller and Christopher Arlen have all stated that they either want the board to make a “deal” for a new IGA or outright insist that Green Mountain should promote the development of Rooney Valley  and. provide sewer outside their boundary  . . .  even though Green Mountain doesn’t have any legal obligation to do so under the Service Plan and regulations.

Rita?  What is your position on the key issue?  Do you believe Green Mountain should go outside its boundaries and provide sewer to the Rooney Valley developers?

Since the vast majority of the recall leaders take the position that Green Mountain SHOULD PROVIDE SEWER OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT BOUNDARY,

And since the Rooney Valley Developers

who lost the lawsuit to force Green Mountain to provide sewer outside the district boundary

and are now working on Plan B

to take over the board

WOULD ALSO LIKE TO “MAKE A DEAL” TO PROVIDE SEWER OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT BOUNDARY

It appears pretty likely that the money that went to pay Jamie, Rachel, Brian, Helen,Anthony, Robert, Carol and John to collect 75% of the signatures came from  . . .  the same people who are about to pay the District’s legal fees since they lost the lawsuit . . . the Rooney Valley Developers.

The Rooney Valley Developers have the money to file lawsuits.

They certainly have the money to pay people $3 an hour (plus profit to the employer company) to collect signatures from complete strangers.

So, what’s this recall really all about.

Sounds like its a campaign to force Green Mountain to provide sewer to the Rooney Valley Developers.

Follow the money.

And once the Court appoints a new designated election official to start the process all over again who does not have a conflict of interest and a clear “perception of impropriety”,

I guarantee that you will have a new batch of strangers knocking on your door to collect your signature for, what is in reality, the “Rooney Valley Development Campaign”.

Its your district.  Its your signature.  Its your vote.

Do you want to provide sewer outside your district boundary

To promote the development of Rooney Valley.

You have a choice.

The recall committee has made their choice.

What is your choice.
