A group of residents has published a new report that provides data and analysis which establishes that the Solterra residents do not owe Brookfield any more money.
The residents paid Brookfield for the Solterra land, they paid Brookfield for the Solterra infrastructure and they paid Brookfield a profit for developing the lots equal to at least $75,900,000.00 – after paying for the land and the infrastructure.
Over $118,000,000.00 (for the land, infrastructure and profit) was already paid by the Solterra residents to Brookfield – even before Brookfield began taxing the Solterra residents to pay, a second time, for the “costs” of the infrastructure.
There will be a resident Town Hall Tuesday at 6:30 to clear the air, answer resident questions and talk about what we need to do to stop the Solterra Board from imposing another tax burden on the residents for the purpose of paying Brookfield money they have not earned.
