The City of Lakewood has released new financial reports that show the financial contributions for one of the new PACs that funds Adam Paul’s campaign.
Here is the relevant excerpt:
Cardel, which has sued Green Mountain Water and Sanitation District – also attacked by Adam Paul – for terminating the Big Sky IGA, put in $10,000.
CDN – the Canadian investors who created the Big Sky Special District run by Tom Morton (their address in Centennial is his office) and also sued Green Mountain along with Cardel, put in $10,000
Of course the Apartment Association hoping to reverse 200 limitations on high density development put in $9,000.
The Construction Company – Renaissance Solutions, put in $5,000.
And the marijuana distributors hoping to get recreational shops approved if Adam Paul is re-elected put in $9,000 (Responsible Lakewood), plus $7,000 (Healing House), plus $5,000 (Jet Black), plus $8,000 (TDM).
All tolled, $63,000 in two days – not bad at all. And we know it will be much higher when the final reports are filed . . . After the election.
Adam Paul is a well funded lobbyist.
It is time to release him from his public obligations as Mayor so that he will be free to come out of the closet and finally make an honest living openly lobbying, and being well paid to do so, for his clients.
Unlike the taxpayer loan he refuses to collect from his friends developing Rooney Valley, these are financial agreements he understands and will enforce.
It is time to set him free.

John, Thank you for exposing the secretive and devious nature of the PACs that are trying to get Adam re-elected. So glad Ramey is running an open and honest campaign!
I like that you can speak openly and free reign on your own blog. I learn so much more from your research this way.
